May 22, 2008: A view of a tornado from the Interstate 215 Freeway, from the northbound lanes. Traffic was eventually snarled for many miles when one of the twisters overturned a big rig. Several tornadoes touched down near March Air Reserve Base, affecting Perris and Moreno Valley. Tornadoes were also reported over the San Jacinto Valley and near Lake Elsinore.
